Step 1: Assess & Design

At MHO we start off with a 30-60 minute in-home or on-site consultation which includes in-depth discussion of organizational needs and measurements of space(s).

A two-dimensional design and detailed shopping list are created using the details from our consultation.

After you sign off on the shopping list, Marigold purchases the products! Our goal is to keep the process as painless for you as possible. After all you hired us to help you and take one more thing off your to-do list!

Step 2: Declutter & Sort

If you need support, Marigold will help you carefully and systematically go through your items. We will help you decide what you want to keep, donate, or trash. We understand that items can hold sentimental value. We will never “make” you get rid of items you are not ready to part with.

If you recently decluttered your space, we jump right into step 3!

Step 3: Defined Spaces & Systems

This is the fun part! The step your most familiar with as seen on popular organizing shows and Instagram accounts.

Marigold implements the design using the products discussed from Step 1. We organize items with you in mind. We ensure items you use most frequently are easily accessible and maintained.

And of course, we label! Labels help those in our family that can’t quite remember where items are stored. We hope this decreases the number of times your asked “Mom, where are my soccer cleats?” or “Honey, do you know where the hot sauce is?”

Step 4: Follow-up Support

For MHO, follow-up support is not about obtaining a good client review. It’s about supporting you to continue the new habit of bringing less into the home and consistently decluttering. With that being said, we understand that even with the best intentions and systems in place, life gets busy, and things get messy again. That’s life! We can come back and help you get your space back on track either on a regular basis or as needed. We can adjust current organization systems for any new items or hobbies acquired. MHO truly cares and wants you to be successful and happy!
